This website is a tribute to the Dutch painter, Koert Simeon Delmonte, who was born in Amsterdam in 1913. After the Second World War, in which most of his family was killed, he left the Netherlands and moved to London. He later settled in Ireland where he remained for the rest of his life. Koert left behind an extensive body of work which included portraits, landscapes and drawings
